Fischer Park on Browns Lake
offers a variety of family fun. The daily rates are $1.00 any age. The hours are from 8am to 10pm. They also have a boat launch for $7.00 a day. For more information call 262-763-8446.
Canoeing
is a popular way to explore our lakes and rivers. For a leisurely trip down the beautiful Fox River, call Fox River Landing, 31423 Bridge Drive, Waterford, 53185. They offer canoe rentals, transportation to the starting point, and camping and picnic areas at the conclusion of the trip. Call 262-662-5690 for more information.
Fishing
is popular at our 16 area lakes and rivers. Anglers catch northern pike, walleye, bass, and panfish. Public boat launches include Browns Lake, Fischer County Park, Hwy.11, 763-8446; Eagle Lake Park, Kansasville, 878-9954; Tichigan Lake, DNR Launch, Bridge Road; and Wind Lake, DNR Launch, South Wind Lake Road. Bait, licenses, and supplies can be purchased at Reineman’s Sporting Goods, 417 Milwaukee Avenue in Burlington.
Aquaducks
Waterski shows every Saturday evening at 6:00 pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day at Fischer County Park, Browns Lake. Professional style water ski shows include music, ski dancing, ski jumping, barefoot skiing, and ballet. For more information, call 262-763-8152.
