Presented in partnership with Penfield Children’s Center and Kohl’s Cares, this program focuses on helping parents/caregivers understand common challenging behaviors (i.e. whining, tantrums, aggressive behavior, hyperactivity) that young children can demonstrate. This program is geared towards parents/caregivers with children ages 7 and younger and will discuss behavior management strategies and how parents/caregivers can effectively react to their child’s behavior.
After attending this workshop, attendees will be able to:

- Identify and use developmentally appropriate strategies for addressing the challenging behaviors
- Practice strategies that could help prevent challenging behaviors
- How to create/establish household routines
Attendees of the presentation will also have the opportunity to ask questions and problem-solve through situations they may currently be experiencing.
