Simon's Gardens

Simon's Gardens, a fifth generation family farm, is located between Waterford and Mukwonago. It is owned by Chris and Nancy Simon, who with the help of a small staff and their children, grow and market high quality plants and produce.

The Simon's family has always sold direct to customers and through the generations, learned and passed on many techniques for growing an ever widening selection of products. They grow with a combination of many practices, both old and new, to provide wholesome healthy food and plants with a minimum use of chemicals. Since the Simon's grow what we sell, they have total control and knowledge of what and when each product may have had anything applied. This way, they can be sure of their customers and staff's well being. Many of the cutting edge varieties that the Simon's grow have built in resistance to disease and don't require chemicals. This along with careful crop rotation and timing keeps them very sustainable.

Simon's Gardens offers a full range of products from spring to fall. Baskets, containers, herbs, flats, perennials, vegetable transplants, roses, etc. along with asparagus, radish, beets, and kohlrabi start out the season. After the beginning season, the Simon's move on to all the various summer vegetables specializing in sweet corn, tomatoes and melons. Although those are the most popular, Simon's Gardens offers over 100 other items that fill out the markets all freshly picked hours before.

Simon's Gardens round out their growing season with the familiar crops of fall including pumpkins, squash, and mums, as well as decorative items and homemade caramel apples. Fresh eggs from the free range flock are also available the whole market season along with local honey.

Simon's Garden has been growing more fruit in recent years and offers it when the short seasons allow. Most of the products Simon's Gardens offers started as requests from their customers, so always feel free to mention something you are having trouble finding and it just might be something they can do.
